In January 2020, inspired by Phyllis Perillo's talk at our Fall Conference, NOIP formed an Outreach Committee to work with organizations that focus on providing financial education to communities in need, such as underprivileged students, military veterans, and the elderly. In May 2022, NOIP incorporated the NOIP Foundation as an affiliate. In April 2023, the Internal Revenue Service granted the Foundation 501(c)(3) status as a public charity, so that all donor contributions are tax-deductible.
The Foundation seeks deserving organizations with needs that match the talents and resources of our membership. Once identified, we develop partnerships so that NOIP members can contribute time and expertise to advance shared interests. By directly participating in partner programs, we create fulfilling experiences that benefit all involved. Our quarterly newsletter provides updates on our activities and fundraising events. Our one-pager and latest tax filing can be shared with potential donors and other interested parties.
If you would like to participate in the NOIP Foundation, or have ideas or questions, please email. Please send donations via Zeffy, to @NOIPFoundation via Venmo's charity directory, or mail to NOIP Foundation, Inc., c/o Bill Yancey, Treasurer, 6416 Pinehurst Drive, Granbury, Texas 76049.
